Abdullah Emad is the Chief Executive Officer of United Design Consulting Engineers (UDC Engineers), a civil engineering firm specializing in land development projects across Texas and beyond. With a career that began in the trenches of construction as a superintendent, estimator, and project manager, Abdullah brings a rare and valuable perspective to the engineering world—one grounded in hands-on, boots-on-the-ground experience.

A 2014 graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Abdullah blends technical expertise with a contractor’s practicality. His time managing field operations and estimating large-scale construction work gave him a deep appreciation for buildability, efficiency, and the critical link between design and execution. Today, he leads UDC Engineers with a mission to deliver engineering solutions that are not only precise on paper, but also smart, constructible, and cost-effective in the field.

Abdullah’s leadership is marked by a focus on collaboration between designers, contractors, and clients—bridging the traditional gap between engineering plans and real-world performance. His approach ensures that every project reflects an understanding of what it takes to break ground, navigate regulatory agencies, and bring developments to life with long-term success.

Outside of work, Abdullah enjoys working on cars, a hobby that he took on in his youth that helped shape the decision to become an engineer.
